Blo-Tech’s flexible screw conveyors are available in various configurations and directions, including vertical, horizontal, at an angle, around fixed equipment, from one room to another, with multiple discharge points or a fully mobile unit.
The auger is designed to self-centralise within its ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) conveying tube, which maintains a dust-tight condition. This cost effective and efficient way of conveying prevents cross-contamination and product degradation. The auger uses the bulk material being handled to keep itself rigid and is maintained through consistent mixing of the contained powders.
The standard unit consists of an inlet, discharge outlet, flexible shaftless auger, (UHMWPE) conveying tube, gearbox and motor.
