Container Back Fill

Backfill units are designed to enable powdered or pelleted product to fill containers up to 40 ft long from the rear – as an alternative to top loading. With several frame options available, a solution that suits almost any layout can be accommodated.

A high-speed robust impeller ensures the throw of the product reaches the depths of the container with an adjustable flap allowing controlled product direction to ensure even fill and reduce liner and container wear.

Nitrogen or air purge systems as well as liner inflation equipment and bearing purge facilities can also be facilitated in the self-contained assembly.

OPTIONS

The unit can be supplied mounted onto the following frame options:

  • Static – a static frame. Container reversed to machine.
  • Drive Thru – a vertically moving platform. Container driven under frame and machine lowered into filling position.
  • Mobile – forklift movable platform. Platform moved to container and bolted onto the container fittings.
